I do run into those problems. Some enhancements are more than 10MB. The maintenance releases are much efficient for loading. If I can help it, I wait until a maintenance release at the end of the month. I hate loading individual patches or enhance...
Other vendor charge for recording/storing a call. I don't know how Arkadin works or if NTST has a special deal.

Rob We are struglling with that also (notes by clinician) ,currently we have an open ticket with Netsmart to see about adding an index on the data_entry_userid (??) field. They are reluctant to do so but we keep pushing for it or another solution...
Thanks! We've done a similar thing, only a few tables in the main report and several subreports for billing, appointments and other service information. Querying by PATID seems very fast. For us it's faster than it used to be after we loaded som...

We have worked out a simlar model on paper that has the client and provider completing the assesmnet. Have not yet arrivved at the functionality for doing this is avatar and right now are looking at a web-based portal that allows the client to pop...
Thanks for posting this. Great summary of data access methods. BTW...What did you mean by "SAP recommends" In general making the DBMS do the work instead of the client is always a great idea. I just wasn't following how SAP is related.
It looks like there have been a couple of similar requests in different forums... Althought we did not record the presentation, iff someone would like to take the lead in coordinating other possible requests, particularly from the Avatar group, t...

Where are you in your implementation plan?

Rosecrance is trying to gauge our progress with the implementation of various components of Avatar. I would like to ask for the NTST Community members’ assistance with this project. If you would, please, respond and give an idea of what you’ve implemented, what you are currently working on, and what you are planning (all with time frames)—I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance for your help.

Here’s a synopsis of our progress. One thing to keep in mind is that Rosecrance is attempting to ha… Continue

Posting miscellaneous info gained from support / sysadmin

What's the thought out there about posting information you may have learned in your experience with support / sysadmin or other NTST personnel? When I say people ... obviously that means customers, but I think even NTST personnel don't know things that maybe they should. The way I think about it ... implementers should know a couple more sysadmin tricks. Now of course I'd think posti… Continue

Ideas for Netsmart Community

I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by posting this, but I thought it would be a good idea to discuss some ways of adding additional, relevant content to the Netsmart Community site. Please note, these ideas aren't mine, they are a collective set of ideas from the conversations of many at the Netsmart Connections 2009 conference. I just wanted to discuss these as I feel they are valuable to all Netsmart Users.

Caveat: Ok, I realize I look like a real nerd by posting tonight, while attendin… Continue
